Description
The Automatic CO₂ Incubator (Water Jacketed Model) is a precision-engineered unit designed for ideal cell culture and biological applications requiring stable temperature, humidity, and CO₂ control. It features a triple-walled construction with an inner SS 304 jacket and a powder-coated GI exterior, ensuring excellent insulation and minimal heat loss. The system is equipped with a microprocessor-based PID temperature controller with digital indication and a PT-100 sensor for accurate monitoring, maintaining a temperature range of 5°C above ambient to 60°C with ±0.1°C accuracy. It provides CO₂ control from 0% to 20% with high stability (±0.1%) and uniformity (±0.2%). Additional features include adjustable stainless steel shelves, a humidity pan for up to 98% RH at 37°C, and multiple safety systems such as audible and visual alarms for temperature and CO₂ deviation, online contamination filters, automatic gas shutoff during power failure, and a low-watt heater in the outer door to prevent condensation.

- All controls grouped at the top of the unit for easy access.
- Temperature range: 5°C above ambient to 60°C; temperature accuracy: ±0.1°C; temperature uniformity: ±0.2°C.
- CO₂ range: 0% to 20%; CO₂ uniformity: ±0.2%; CO₂ stability: 0.1%.
- Adjustable shelves allow relocation to desired height if needed.
- Humidity pan supplied for natural humidification up to 98% RH at 37°C.
- The unit includes the following:
- Online filters to prevent contamination.
- Audible and visible alarm indicates CO₂ deviation 1% above or below set point.
- Low-watt heater in outer door prevents contamination.
- Automatic shut-off prevents gas dumping if power fails.
- Matched thermistor CO₂ sensor.
- Audible and visible alarm indicates temperature deviations 1°C above or below set point.
